Default Anyone like horse racing?

I wonder if anyone likes gambling on horse racing? I just won £25 on the Grand National in the Uk today so am quite pleased with it at the moment!
I was once quite addicted but now just have a bet now and then. How about you?

Well done on the Grand National, a great race. My weekend started badly on the footy but got better on Blue Squares casino. A profit is a profit from wherever.

I've never gambled on horses before, but I have heard that it is one of the most popular events to bet on. Almost everyone who goes to the tracks bet on a horse.

I have never gambled on horses my whole life for two reasons:

the outcome depends on the horse which you cannot control and
your judgement on which horse will win is not simply based on probability

Well with horse racing you are supposed to be able to judge the horses by their form and people have all kinds of systems they say will work. Or you can just pick a horse because you like its name. I do like having a bet when the horse race is on the telly so you can watch to see if you win or not. I usually go for a horse that has done well in its last few races and put on an each way bet so if it comes in the first 3 or 4 you still win something. I like it but some people have no interest at all.

See you later

The bingo hall where my friends and I go to play has horse betting downstairs. It isn't at a track but they show all of the races on the many televisions and you can bet just as you were at the track.

I keep saying "next time" but my friends do not seem interested and they always want to rush out and go home.

We have to drive to Kentucky to play and horse racing/betting is huge there. So I am sure I will catch a bet soon.

Default horse racing

I been betting horses for over 20 years and like all punters there been ups and downs.
The thing about horse racing is sitting down with the form book and try and find the winner and possibly a very good price.
Handicaps are good to try and analyse the form and there is a good oppertunity in finding a well handicap horse at a good price.
In fields of 16 and more, you have a great chance of getting your eachway bet up as there are four places.
One of my favourite bets is the eachway double, where you could double your money if both horses placed.
As I live in Scotland, one of my favourite courses is Perth for jumping and going to the races is exciting and thrilling. Even if you do not have a bet, to see the horses in the parade ring, so you can see for yourself if a horse is ready to take part and not boiled over.
One thing to look for if the horse is sweating between the hind legs as its a sign they are worrying and there mind is on other things. If you notice a colt is looking coltish you can see he is interested in the other sex than racing.
